Yes! I am three! Perfect, you have uncovered my true age!
This, admittedly, made me chuckle a little. Exactly how old do you believe that I am, anonny dear?
Awww, I’m glad you like it! Sorry I’ve been away so much lately, school is important though!
You know, I could give some snarky remark about whenever I get to it, but the honest truth is… I don’t know. I started writing for the next chapter, only to realise I want to do something between those two and pushed it back. Then I’ve kind of… Lost faith and motivation. I’m going to finish this. I promise that. I want to finish all of my stories. However, right now is hard. It’s not even because the show’s on hiatus again. I’ve kind of lost faith in the fandom, and have no motivation to write right now. That, and school is killing me. Putting those together… it’ll be a while. Maybe I’ll have something by the end of the year, but… I don’t know.
Until I get back into the swing of things, you can consider me on a hiatus. Cause right now, the best I’m gonna turn out isn’t very much.
Maybe someday, but I have no plans for it right now, sorry!
Sorry, but requests are closed. :)
Thank you, dear heart!
Thank you so much! <3 It means a hell of a lot to me to get messages like these!
Miscarriage mention! Here’s the long awaited second chapter guys! Ao3 here!
The moment the door shut behind them, her hands clacked together- not hard, not loud, and nowhere near enough to break delicate gems so needed for life- and her fingers popped, cracked, even, in a wave of ten joints releasing air. She was nervous, angry, and so jealous, but she kept composed for him. For her- she was still upset, still felt used, and the feeling only rung deeper, now. Hurt more. It wasn’t their fault, and Pearl didn’t mean for this to happen. She couldn’t have known. Garnet wasn’t even looking at her, but she knew Pearl was going to say something before she did, and she turned, arms out in front of her as if to protect herself.
With a total of seven votes cast, oviposition is the clear winner here with six! There was only one vote for the alternative method, so ovi it is! I’ll try to have the next chapter up this weekend, but there’s no promises there! Thank you all for voting!
Yeah, sure! Or, rather, I could give you a link to the original post? It’s not my idea, but if I was to use it for this au, it’d be altered slightly so that fusion would be the requirement instead of touching gems- like in Prolusion! However, I’ve never wrote this au before, and I’d probably tweak it quite a bit, since I’m prone to doing that with any au I work on! Just take a look at my gem egg hell fics in general, really!
Before you ask, I really like the fic, a’ight? I’ve mentioned it at least three times now, I know, but ‘ey. I reaaaally like it! It’s one of the few SU fics I read.
Okay guys! I need help deciding something! What would you guys like to see in Torn Pages- the Pearlnet AU I was writing? Oviposition, or the alternative method of geode formation? Shoot me an ask, so that I can tally up the votes! The ones with the most votes wins, obviously! The poll ends… How about Wednesday, Oct. 7th? That’s enough days to vote, I think!
Ao3! References sex quite a bit, but never goes into detail guys, and mentions alcohol use!
They stumbled, together, onto the bus at one in the morning. The driver gave them a look, but Rose’s smile- warm with that certain something that adults always trusted- allowed him to let them on the empty bus without a spoken word. A giggle slipped from Pearl’s lips, unbound and warm, when she realised she could still taste the twinge of whatever sweet alcoholic beverage Rose had given her before the party had ended. There had been a few, and the last one had tasted vaguely of strawberries, and it still ran over her lips.
Hey guys! New chapter is up finally! Ao3 here! Gem egg hell warning, as if this fic needs it, and oviposition this chapter!
It felt like an eternity that they sat there after Steven and Amethyst left, holding each other like they were anchors to the reality that, yes, they were going to have gemlings. They were going to have baby gems, all of their own, as long as their geodes were fine and hatched. Ruby couldn’t believe it, ready to hold her little ones- or at least hold their geodes. It would still be a while before they hatched, and that was an if. Just because they had the possibility to didn’t mean that they would. She pressed her hand to her stomach, feeling the little orbs under the skin. A spur of pain dug into her side and she gasped against Sapphire, because it was more than the digs it had been before. This was intense, and she knew it instantly as the start of a long process. At least this time, they had hope.
